{my little model}

I’m working on relaunching my photography business, and I needed a model last week so I could brush up on my skills. Yohannes jumped at the opportunity to help his mama got bribed into the deal, and we ended up with some really cute images! He’ll be five next month (what?!?!), so I was glad to have some new pictures of him anyway. I typically prefer clean, sharp, bright images, but I played around with some texture and vintage editing on a few of these. I thought I’d share the cuteness . . . .

I just got a sneak peek of my new logo yesterday, and I can’t wait to finish all the rebranding work. When Yohannes came home I took a break from photography, and I’m really excited about getting back at it! {I’m sure my kids will be relieved, too, since they’ve been my primary subjects for the past year!} See, he’s pretty much over it . . . .

Your photos are absolutely beautiful! And so is your model – I just LOVE his curls! So cute! And I wish we lived closer to you, too. I’m hoping to get some family portraits taken after we bring our Ethiopian twins home…..

I love the twinkle in his eyes and how your reflection is actually visible in his eyes in a couple of the pictures. So precious!

What a cutie! Though I have never met him, I feel the pic with his lips tightly closed captures him! Am I right? A little mischievous, mostly a love!!! These make me want family photos done. Maybe just another reason for our family to come see your family in Memphis!!!
