Heading to Haiti!

Remember when I shared about the needs at this orphanage in Haiti? Well, after much thinking and praying, I’ve made the decision to GO there and hang out with the kids some while their home is being rebuilt! Six weeks from today I’ll be spending my first full day in Port-au-Prince!

While part of our team is doing construction rebuilding the orphanage, some other ladies and I will do Vacation Bible School-type activities with the kids. We’ll basically play with them a lot, love on them a lot, and teach them about God and how much He loves and cares for them. I’m praying that they will be ministered to physically & spiritually through our time there and that they’ll have FUN!

Sarah Jane and I have been brainstorming and have put together a list of needed supplies. Let me know if you’re interested in donating any of these items or contributing financially to help purchase them. There are 78 kids at the orphanage, so we’ll need LOTS of crafty goodness to go around!

Hey are you coming for a visit to AC before you leave? I thought Joan said you might be. If you are I have several Frisbees I can give you. If not I can mail them to you.

Love that you are tagging along Katie! Matthew just got back from rebuilding homes in Haiti and I wish I could have gone with him. Praying that you receive all that you need!
